You know how a brand new blog looks so empty and all? Since I just started this one yesterday, I'm currently just trying to fill in some blank space with stuff I come across while web surfing today. Bear with me while I make it look not quite so empty. :)
I stole the title of this post from one of the comments about this pup on the Daily Puppy, but I have to agree. His name is Otis and he's a Great Dane. I've always wanted a Great Dane, but I won't purchase one from a breeder or pet store and they're hard to come by in shelters. I had to post these pictures of him, though... he is about as precious as it gets!

I just came across this hotel, the Burj Al Arab Hotel, in my web surfing (always the way I find interesting things). It's considered the world's finest hotel, and 7-star rated. Found in Dubai, on the Arabian Peninsula, it was designed to look like the sail of a sailboat. The night picture of it is stunning. Follow this link for some interior pictures (this is the page where I originally came across this hotel).

This morning on NBC's Today Show, one of the reporters did an excellent job of explaining how the current economic crisis and not passing the $700 billion bail-out affects everyday Americans. To this point, I have not seen this explained (even the White House didn't bother to explain what effect not bailing out Wall Street would have on average Americans). This is a great piece... to the point and finally explaining to Main Street why it's important to us to get some bail-out package passed. Check it out...
